A thriving general aviation aerodrome

Based in the centre of the UK

Only 7 miles to the south west of Wolverhampton and 20 miles from Birmingham.

About Us

Originally built for the Royal Air Force in 1941, the airport now provides a thriving base for aircraft and helicopter flying schools, private aircraft operators, commercial operators, aviation and non-aviation related businesses.

With hard and grass runways, the aerodrome is ideal for flying training and hosts four fixed wing training schools, a helicopter school, and a microlight school. Each of these offer trial flying lessons so you can get a feel of what learning to fly is all about.
